We may collect, for the purposes of any events that we operate badged access for, information about your location in and engagement with the event. For example, for certain events, access will be granted via a badge which holds your registration details including personal information. You will be required to use your badge to gain access to the event. In this situation we will collect information about when you enter the event and which exhibitors you have engaged with.
Information we receive from other sources
- Information we receive from third parties: We may collect information about you from third parties that we work closely with for the purposes of delivering to you the services that you request from us. For example, we may engage third parties to assist us with our online event registration systems or payment systems; these entities will collect information directly from you on our behalf. We may engage third parties to operate event websites on our behalf; these entities will collect information directly from you about your visits to the website on our behalf.
- We may also receive information about you from third parties where you have consented to such third party sharing your information with us.
- We may also collect information about you from publicly available sources, including publicly available content on social media.

Transfer of personal information
We use other companies, agents or contractors (“Service Providers”) to perform services on our behalf or to assist us with the provision of services to you. For example, we may engage Service Providers to provide market research, registration hosting, website administration, advertising, analytic and search engine providers, event management (including logistics, health and safety and audio-visual services), meetings and bookings (including accommodation), training, IT, hosting and other infrastructure, payment processing and data cleansing and processing services. In the course of providing such services, these Service Providers may have access to your personal information. These third parties are contractually bound only to use personal information to perform the services that we hire them to provide. We will always use our best efforts to ensure that all the Service Providers we work with will keep your personal data secure.

If you choose to allow your badge to be scanned at an event by an exhibitor or sponsor, we may pass the information you provide to this third parties. If you wish to change your contact preferences with an individual exhibitor/sponsor, please follow their own unsubscribe request details. Unsubscribing with Broadway Events Limited Ltd will stop Broadway Events Limited from contacting you in the future, but not the individual third parties whom you have interacted with independently.
Your data will only be stored by us within the European Economic Area (“EEA”).
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our sites; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
In the case of your use of one of our virtual products, e.g. Virtual Exhibitions, Directory Sites, Webinars etc, we may pass the information you provide to third parties. Generally, this will be via a process whereby you, as the user, visit or interact with a third party e.g. visit a stand at an online exhibition or click on an asset branded and provided by a third party. In some instances, for example, a products listing site, you may reach out directly to a supplier, sponsor or exhibitor who may contact you in return (in which case they will be acting as a data controller). In other instances, our virtual products are sponsored and, in such cases the data you provided to us will be given to the sponsor. We will let you know at the time of collection if a product is sponsored.
If you wish to change your contact preferences with an individual exhibitor/sponsor, please follow their own unsubscribe request details. Unsubscribing with us will stop us from contacting you in the future, but not the individual third parties whom you have interacted with.
We take your contact preferences very seriously. If you would prefer for your details not to be passed to any third parties as laid out in this section, you are advised not to register for the virtual product.
Security of Personal Information
